Thread: The Recognition for Local Talents!

Most SriLankan youngsters are passionate of making short films,music and movies these days.But do they get the correct recognition?
Apart from the risks and difficulties they face, what they get at the end of the day are more bad reviews from the critics than the good ones.

Many Sri Lankans keep comparing everything with the Indian or world class movies than appreciating the talent?

Yeah they have been compared to the level of Indian/world cinema. Audiences have expectations regarding the films. But it needs high budget, more skill people to produce the same standard like Indian films. They can prove their talent if they given with right facilities.
