We have only 1% of Sri Lankan Black Panther in our country, and we lost one among them.
The Black Panther got injured near Nallathanniya Mauldeniya, Sri Lanka (Sri pada Forest) and took by wildlife officials to the Randanigala Veterinary Hospital for its treatment. Unfortunately, it died during the treatment.
Why did this pathetic incident happen? Why did we fail in the conservation of our country's rare animals?
