Thread: Increased number of old age homes! Whom to blame?

I have seen many new old age home emerging in Sri Lanka recently like never before.People have started to throw their parents in old age home and think that their duty is over after sending money to the old age home to look after their parents.
They've become busy chasing the pride and money without even knowing that the real pride is their parents!


What's the reason behind this painful decisions? Are there any ways to stop this problem?

As you said people become more selfish and giving more importance to money rather than real relationships. The only way to stop this is to teach children from their childhood about the importance of relationships and the responsibility to maintain each relationships with love.
