Does money affect our morality?

When someone accuses someone who looks so shabby, we just accept it.
If a posh lady accuses a homeless guy of theft, we don't give it a second thought. We don't go for evidence, we don't ask questions, we agree to it.
If a simple modest man accuses a rich guy, then we ask evidence, because we assume that he's not trustworthy.
But when the roles are exchanged, the modest man is already guilty in our eyes.

What kind of morality is ours? Are we letting someone's social status affect our thinking?

This is the practical reality our world. An alcoholic actor killed 1 one innocent and made 4 people to lost their hands and legs with his car proofed as an innocent by law. The reason is he is famous and he has lots of money.So yes money corrupt our morality.
