    Does rice is good for our health?

    Hi all,

    As Sri Lankan's our main food is Rice. But Rice is majorly consist of carbohydrate and it may lead for various diseases.
    In some instances doctors recommend not to eat white rice and have red rice for the meal.

    Can someone explain the health benefits of having rice in our meals?
    Is it good to consume rice for whole 3 meals?

    Rice has nothing do with our health since all the vitamins are taken away once we boil the rice.

    Even though white rice is more processed it also has healthy vitamins like folate and studies show that eating rice everyday give us feeling of fullness and helps to maintain a balanced diet.
    You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Don't stress. Master the day. Make this a daily reminder.
