Cows are sacred animals for India's Hindu majority people. So now the state government of Madhya Pradesh is developing plans to bring this devotion into the 21st century and find a high-tech solution to the growing amount of with stray cows and overcrowded shelters across India. So they are launching an app and website called "Adopt-a-Cow" which will serve as a one-stop shop for people to adopt a cow and get to know the latest news from their local cow shelter. People can even use this app to buy items that made from cow dung and urine. In India, Cash gifts to cow shelters are very common practices. It's a kind of Hindu charity said to bring good fortune for you and your family and many Indian newspapers carry ads from such facilities asking for donations. So it's believe that this app will make it easy for the people and the cow shelters to do the donation process.
