Thread: Tons of plastic inside a whale's stomach!

A week back, in Thailand, a pilot whale was found distressed and after five days of struggle by the veterinarians the whale died! The autopsy exhumed 17 pounds of plastic from the whale's stomach.
This is just a beginning and this may also occur in our country in future

This is another result of the carelessness of the people. They always tend to throw garbage to sea. These kind of things happen due to the selfish works of people.

Comparatively it's less in SriLanka but people have started doing this, the government should make any awareness on this issue.

This is very sad, Our people should stop using oceans as garbage bins before it's become too late.

Yes, the government should host some awareness programs on this issue.Not only plastic many other chemicals are being a threat to the aquatic animals and plants.
