Following the misinformation around coronavirus spreading across the social media channels like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Now Instagram is expanding on its COVID-19 response tools, with new information prompts in its home feeds and ban searches on coronavirus related AR masks. To help people to get the relevant up-to-date information, now Instagram will start showing more information and resources from WHO and in some countries, it will show the information from local health ministries at the top of Instagram feeds.

I think it's a good initiative as now more people are staying at home, So social media channels will indeed become the most critical information and interaction lifeline. Therefore this initiative helps people to gather the right information through social media.
